  • Treatment of Bacterial infections

Acuclav DS Syrup Benefits

In Treatment of Resistant Tuberculosis (TB)

The pathogenic germs in multidrug-resistant tuberculosis produce an enzyme called beta-lactamase. This enzyme degrades antibiotics, rendering them useless. As a result, the bacteria develop resistance to the antibiotics used to treat them. Amoxycillin and clavulanic acid are the active components in Acuclav DS Syrup. While clavulanic acid prevents the enzyme from rendering amoxycillin ineffective, amoxycillin acts to kill the bacteria that causes tuberculosis. As a result, the combination of amoxycillin and clavulanic acid is an effective treatment for tuberculosis.

In Treatment of Bacterial infections

Acuclav DS Syrup includes two medications, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid, which work together to destroy bacteria that cause illnesses. Amoxycillin acts by inhibiting bacterial growth. Clavulanic Acid decreases resistance and increases Amoxycillin’s antibacterial effectiveness.

This combination medication can be used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including those of the ear, sinuses, throat, lung, urinary system, skin, teeth, joints, and bones. It normally works within a few days, but you should keep taking it even if you feel better to ensure that all bacteria are eliminated and do not grow resistant.
