Information About Acuvert Tablet

Acuvert Tablet is used to treat vertigo (dizziness) caused by ear issues (Meniere’s syndrome and other labyrinthine disorders), nausea, vomiting, and migraine. It can also be used to treat non-psychotic anxiety in the short term.

Acuvert Tablet is taken after meals at the prescribed dose and time. Your dose will be determined by your illness and how you respond to the medication. You should continue taking this medication until your doctor tells you to stop. This medication is not suggested for long-term use.

Sedation or drowsiness is the most prevalent adverse effect, thus driving or using machinery is not advised. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication because it can make you sleepy. It can also result in orthostatic hypotension (a quick drop in blood pressure when standing). This is normally transitory and goes away with time. If you are concerned about any of these adverse effects, contact your doctor right away.

If you have jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), epilepsy, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), or increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma), consult your doctor before using this medication. If you have liver, kidney, or cardiac problems, tell your doctor. Inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, since some may interact with or be affected by this medication. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should visit their doctor.

Acuvert Tablet Benefits

In Treatment of Vertigo

Vertigo is defined as a spinning sensation or vertigo caused by frequent movement or in patients suffering from Meniere’s disease. It is frequently caused by an ear condition (vestibular). Acuvert Tablet successfully treats this sensation. If you feel dizzy when getting out of bed, wait for a few moments and then carefully rise to avoid an inadvertent fall. It works on the vestibular system to reduce the spinning sensation.

In Treatment of Nausea

Acuvert Tablet is frequently used to prevent nausea and vomiting induced by other medications, as well as in post-operative patients suffering from nausea/vomiting (in adults only). It works by inhibiting the receptors responsible for nausea and vomiting.

In Treatment of Migraine

Acuvert Tablet aids in the treatment and prevention of migraine headaches. It alters electrical activity in the brain, blocks molecules responsible for pain feeling, and also suppresses impulses related with migraine nausea/vomiting. It can help you carry out your everyday activities and have a better quality of life by preventing and minimizing the frequency of migraine headaches.

In Treatment of Short term anxiety

Acuvert Tablet alleviates symptoms of excessive anxiety and worry that occur only during stressful situations that persist for a short period of time. These could include job interviews, exams, theatrical performances, and so forth. It can efficiently control restlessness, weariness, difficulties concentrating, and irritability.
