Information About Acnicin Gel

A combination of Adapalene and Clindamycin, Acnicin Gel has antiacne properties. This medication is a topical retinoid and lincomycin antibiotic that can treat and manage acne production on the skin. Adapalene is a synthetic form of vitamin A that reduces oil secretion, while Clindamycin is an antibiotic that stops the growth of proteins on which the bacteria feed.

Following the doctor’s instructions, use the Acnicin Gel only externally. Always clean the affected region before applying the product to ensure no dirt and germs are there. This medication can take a few weeks to show the active difference in the condition. However, follow the complete course of this prescription consistently. Keep using Acnicin Gel even after the acne disappears to ensure they do not return. Consult your dermatologist regarding discontinuing the treatment once it has resolved the problem.

Sometimes, people may experience a burning sensation and itching in the area where the product is applied. It only happens for a while, and the side effects disappear once the body adjusts to the medication. Issues like redness and greasy skin are all temporary adverse effects of the Acnicin Gel that do not require medical attention. However, if these symptoms do not resolve quickly, consult your doctor for a solution.

Do not use the Acnicin Gel on broken or injured skin. Avoid getting the gel in contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. If Acnicin Gel mistakenly gets inside these body parts, wash them off immediately with water and call the doctor. Do not use makeup while using the Acnicin Gel.
